Working a 9 to 5 job in my eyes

  • Eight months ago
  • I don’t want to keep trading my time for money
  • I don’t want to wake up every morning to continue living this predictable life of:
  • Eating breakfast
  • Driving to work
  • Sitting at my boring desk from 9 till 5 (more like 8 till 6)
  • Marketing fast and expensive cars which were entirely out of my price range
  • Drive home, which would result in getting stuck in traffic! YAY
  • Finish my to-do list from the night before
  • Eat Dinner
  • Go to bed

Working a 9 to 5 job in my eyes was, you got to repeat the whole process all over again day in day out!! Don’t worry if you are feeling the same or keep believing, there must be more to life than waking up and living the same life day in and day out. I am here to help and give you an insight on how I changed my life by leaving my 9 till 5 job.

Finding out that most people have most defiantly found a way to create and earn lots of money, but I felt like I’m not as intelligent as them or that my creative mind can’t handle it. Maybe you feel the same way if you are underachieving your goals and ambitions in life by working a 9 to 5 job. By having to trade your time for money which is, yes somewhat depressing. I knew its possible to work anywhere in the world and have money work for me because the clients who would buy these fantastic cars are doing it and guess what, they are all at ages.

always telling myself if I wanted it to work I had to realise, it was going to be hard and I need to be 100% committed to making my dream life possible. All I wanted was to live a comfortable life but not have a boss messaging me 24/7 to complete more tasks. Was I asking for too much?

Anyone else feeling like you can relate with this post or had the same thoughts running through your mind?

Short Story on my life

So guess you want a small story on me, Hi I’m Jon a 24-year-old male living in two parts of the UK either my home town Bognor Regis with my family or spending time with my partner in Cheshire up north. I’ve suffered from dyslexia my whole life. However, it came to my attention; it’s not a problem. I still struggle on a day to day basis, although with my fantastic partner Rachael giving me the strength always to express that its a gift, not a disadvantage.

My work background has been studying Horticulture. Which lead me to start a company with my friend which became very successful in a short amount of time. After working for five years, I then took a job as a marketing associate for performance and luxury car dealership to learn and expand my knowledge in marketing. Also, understanding what it’s like having a boss again. While yes they were both completely different jobs, none of them gave me true fulfilment or happiness.

You would never see just on the computer, watching TV and doing nothing, except watching Avengers!!. Getting up early is a must, being productive, always learning and keep growing my understanding of life.

Knowing I felt stuck in my marketing job as there was no progression after being there a year. Which for me didn’t hit home as I always want to learn and grow within my careers. While feeling stuck at that corporate job it made me search for something new and exciting, now, this was the moment I found out that working 9 to 5 was not on the cards.

I found an online education system called Six Figure Mentors which taught me that you could build a life you truly desire without having all the experience you think you need. The best part you can live life on your terms by being yourself and not having to be the person you don’t want to be.

This blog is for you to think long and hard about is working 9 to 5 the life you want.

If you are tired of waking up and repeating the same day at a 9 to 5 job, I may be able to help by introducing you to the same free 7-day video series, which helped me start my journey outside of the 9 to 5 life.

Enjoy the rest of the week
